New Executive Director at YJC

The Youth Job Center of Evanston, 1114 Church St., has announced the appointment of a new executive director, Sacella Smith. Ms. Smith has been at the center since 1998, first as program director and most recently as assistant executive director.

She won the "Woman to Woman Making a Difference in the State of Illinois Award," given by State Treasurer Judy Barr Topinka, in 2004.

She succeeds James Sibley, outgoing executive director of the Evanston Youth Job Center.
